We have a small organic farm about two miles from downtown Asheville, in which we welcome visitors and volunteers. We are several families and single people living together in three houses and two yurts. We work together on our farm, sharing our money and possessions.
We gather together every morning and evening for simple spiritual worship in which anyone, including the children, can start a song, a circle dance, give thanks, share a spiritual insight or lessons learned from that day, etc.
Our life is a social phenomenon in which we are experiencing real healing from our past troubles, as well as experiencing growth and understanding in areas we were underdeveloped. One of the most amazing things about our community are the vast differences in the backgrounds of the members. This is really a place for everyone.
Our life is radical in the sense that we are willing to put aside self interest in order for the community to flourish. We all go through personal struggles but are in it together and for the common good, not only for our present community, but also to provide hope for others who will join us in the future. We love to welcome guests. If you want to know more about our life and beliefs, you are welcome to visit. Jump on our bus when you see it, or give us a call and come on by. We look forward to meeting you.
