The Yellow Deli in Rutland

The Yellow Deli is the setting for us to work together and share our life together with other interested people while at the same time we can provide good, health-giving food for our customers.

Upstairs we operate a hostel to house hikers on the Appalachian Trail and Vermont's Long Trail, as well as other weary travelers. In this way, many people will be able to stay with us, by working in our cafe or paying a small fee.

This bakery is focusing on sourdough, natural leavened products, and products using primarily organic ingredients. The farmers' markets in Vermont have become our main selling places and we hope to do street vending in Burlington and Manchester, Vermont, through the winter.

Hours: 24 hours/5 days a week

The Twelve Tribes is a confederation of twelve self-governing tribes, composed of self-governing communities. We are disciples of the Son of God whose name in Hebrew is Yahshua. We follow the pattern of the early church in Acts 2:44 and 4:32, truly believing everything that is written in the Old and New Covenants of the Bible, and sharing all things in common.
