Thousands of years ago a man sat near his tent deeply burdened in his heart. It would not have been obvious why to others, since he seemed to have all that anyone could desire. Yet he lacked the one thing he wanted most. This lack made everything else he had seem without value. This desire in him was a godly one; he wanted a son. There was something good and true in his heart, at times it was as if he was walking not on this cursed land, but back in the garden. This evening was like that, and the God of heaven and earth spoke to his heart.
