We are a 45 acre certified organic farm in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. Our mission is to grow quality local organic crops using sustainable practices. We sell our vegetables and fruit through our Farm Market on Route 9. We are located in the historic town of Hillsboro, Virginia. We also sell wholesale to a number of organic produce markets in the greater Washington, DC area. We believe in preserving farm land for agriculture and protecting the historical heritage of Northern Virginia. Our soil fertility is maintained through the use of cover crops, compost, and crop rotations. We grow most vegetable crops including many heirloom varieties. Our store next to the farm sells home-grown produce and a lot more.
We have had many visitors drop in for a few hours or arrange for extended visits. More than just simply looking for helpers in exchange for accommodations, our guests are alongside us and learning with us the deeper things of life. Usually, we arrange visits of 1 or 2 days, but, if you are really enjoying the rhythm of our life, an extended stay can be discussed. Contact the community directly you'd like to visit. The Twelve Tribes is a confederation of twelve worldwide self-governing tribes, made up of self-governing communities. We are disciples of the Son of God (whose name in Hebrew is Yahshua). We follow the pattern of the early church written in Acts 2:44 and 4:32, sharing all things in common. We believe everything that is written in the Old and New Covenants of the Bible.
