We are a community of people living, working, and learning together. We also run a farm in South Slocan called Mt. Sentinel Farm. A lot of our ingredients come from the gardens there. We live to manifest the love that we have received from one another and our Creator. It is our hope that you will experience some of this when you come to see us.
As a network of spiritual communities, we began in the 70s. As a café locally, we began with the purchase of the house the café is now in. We have seen the growth of the café business, the establishing of Mt. Sentinel Farm, and much increase in our community. Now we are pleased to announce that our second location is open in Chilliwack. Founded on the same principles and motivated by the same earnest desire to provide you a place and a space to be where you can find a little refuge from the daily rush so many have come to know as their daily life. We are excited about the life that we have, and would love to share it with you.

We are made up of people from all walks of life and a wide range of social backgrounds and experiences. We are learning to stick together and help each other through the process of healing that begins when people come together through the spirit of true love. There are no walls around our community and all are welcome to come and visit with us. It is our heart that all could live the life we have found, and offer it accordingly.
We have had many visitors drop in for a few hours or arrange for extended visits. More than just simply looking for helpers in exchange for accommodations, our guests are alongside us and learning with us the deeper things of life. Usually, we arrange visits of 1 or 2 days, but, if you are really enjoying the rhythm of our life, an extended stay can be discussed. Contact the community directly you'd like to visit. The Twelve Tribes is a confederation of twelve worldwide self-governing tribes, made up of self-governing communities. We are disciples of the Son of God (whose name in Hebrew is Yahshua). We follow the pattern of the early church written in Acts 2:44 and 4:32, sharing all things in common. We believe everything that is written in the Old and New Covenants of the Bible.
